I created this piece for Natalie Kelda's upcoming novel: Reflections of Lilje Damselfly.
It is a short standalone novel set in a magical version of early 20th century England.

The artwork depicts Lilje and Mel with Pete the highland pony collecting Meadowsweet on a warm late April morning.
Lilje weaves a floret of meadowsweet into Mel's hair. Pete nudges Lilje encouragingly, hoping for a sugar cube as a reward.
